Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of Kaluta Pay, a service that lets businesses accept, record and manage crypto payments. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
You are responsible for everything done with your account, your API keys and your team members. Keep your password and keys secret and tell us at once if you think they have been exposed.
2. The service
Kaluta Pay provides invoices, payment links, subscriptions, donation pages, payment buttons, accounting records, referral commissions, approvals and payouts. Payments are carried out through third party payment providers and blockchain networks that we do not control.
Test mode lets you try the service with simulated payments. Nothing in test mode moves real money.
3. Fees
You pay the fee shown on our pricing page, currently 1% of each successful payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Network fees and fees charged by payment providers may apply. We will tell you in advance before any change to our fees.
4. Crypto assets and payments
Crypto asset prices can change quickly. Kaluta Pay does not give investment, tax or legal advice.
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. You must check every address, network and amount before you send or withdraw funds. Funds sent to a wrong address or network may be lost for good.
5. Funds and payouts
If you choose to receive payments directly on your own wallet, you alone control that wallet. If you choose to keep funds with us, we hold them on your behalf until you withdraw them, subject to these terms and to your approval rules.
Payouts follow the approval rules you set for your account. We may delay or refuse a payout to comply with the law or to protect you, your customers or the service.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Kaluta Pay for anything illegal, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or the sale of illegal goods or services.
You must comply with the laws that apply to your business, including tax, consumer protection and anti money laundering rules. We may ask you for information about your business or your customers to meet our own obligations.
7. Your customers
You are responsible for your relationship with your customers, including the goods and services you sell, refunds, disputes and the information you give them.
8. Suspension and closure
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or when the law requires it. Where possible, we will tell you why and let you withdraw the funds you are entitled to.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kaluta Pay is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses caused by payment providers, blockchain networks, wrong addresses or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us during the three months before the event that caused the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new terms.
